The Nordlys® system integrates four advanced technologies into one device, providing a comprehensive solution for skin rejuvenation and the treatment of common dermatological concerns. This all-in-one system adapts treatments to meet the specific needs of each patient for optimal results.

It combines Selective Waveband Technology (SWT) along with the fractional lasers 1550 nm and 1940 nm. The treatment is carried out over several sessions, typically between 3 and 5. It should be performed on clean skin, without makeup or cream. If you are unable to come without makeup, we will remove it on-site. The treatment may be slightly uncomfortable. If necessary, you can apply a numbing cream to make the session more comfortable. Our doctors are always available for follow-up and to assist you with any questions.

It is normal to experience immediate skin reactions after the treatment, such as redness, mild swelling, a warm sensation, or in rare cases, acne flare-ups or small micro-crusts. These effects are expected and usually disappear within a few days. To relieve discomfort, it is recommended to apply cold compresses, soothing creams, and avoid sun exposure. A light gel or tinted cream makeup can be applied the day after the session.

Each session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the type of treatment. The number of sessions required depends on your specific goals and your skin’s response, with a recommended interval of 4 weeks between sessions to allow proper skin regeneration. Typically, a minimum of 3 sessions is recommended to achieve optimal results. Our laser practitioners will ensure you are guided throughout the process to adapt the treatment to your needs.

Before the treatment, it is important to follow a few recommendations:

• Avoid intense sun exposure for 15 days before the treatment to minimize the risk of sensitivity or complications.
• Ensure your skin is clean and not irritated before the session.
• Arrive without makeup on the day of the treatment, so your skin is ready to receive the care optimally.
• Avoid using irritating products, such as strong creams, scrubs, or exfoliating treatments, 24 hours before the treatment.

These steps will prepare your skin and optimize the results of the treatment. If you have any specific questions or concerns, do not hesitate to consult with our laser practitioners before your appointment.

Yes, you can resume your normal activities immediately. However, it is important to protect your skin by avoiding activities that could irritate it, such as excessive heat, intense sweating, or harsh products. It is also essential to protect your skin from the sun by applying SPF 50 sunscreen with every exposure.

However, please note that immediately after the treatment, your skin may be quite red and slightly swollen. If you wish to cover the redness, you can apply a tinted gel or cream makeup 24 hours after the treatment.

• Pregnancy: Treatments are not recommended during pregnancy.
• Sun exposure: Avoid treatment on skin intensely exposed to the sun. A 15-day gap is needed before starting treatment to allow the skin to regenerate.
• High skin phototype (5 and 6): Treatments are not recommended for these phototypes due to an increased risk of complications.
• Irritated or damaged skin: Avoid treatment on areas with skin infections, eczema, psoriasis, or open wounds.
• Melasma: Treatment may worsen this condition, leading to increased hyperpigmentation.
